About Zubic Law

Zubic Law is a growing real estate law firm serving clients across Ontario and Alberta, with brick-and-mortar offices in Niagara Falls and Calgary. What began with Anya Zubic building her practice and personally managing the opening, conveyancing, and signing of files has grown into a multi-province operation with a team of eight women working together to support our clients and partners.

At Zubic Law, they believe that closings will never be simple, but they can be easier with the right team. Their focus is on communication, responsiveness, client care, and creating a closing experience that feels organized and supported from start to finish. They work with homeowners, investors, mortgage professionals, real estate professionals, and lenders across Ontario and Alberta, supporting residential and commercial transactions. While they have offices in both provinces, they also offer remote signings, allowing them to support clients wherever they are.

What makes Zubic Law unique is the people. They are powered by a strong team of women who bring different strengths and perspectives to the table, but share the same goal: making the legal side of a real estate transaction easier for their clients and the professionals who refer them.

The Growth of Zubic Law

When Anya first opened the firm, she was the lawyer, the conveyancer, and the person sitting across the table signing files. Since then, the firm has evolved into a team of eight women operating across two provinces, with two physical offices: one in Niagara Falls, Ontario and one in Calgary, Alberta.

Some of their key milestones include:

• • Growing from a primarily lawyer-led operation into a full team supporting clients throughout the closing process.
  • Expanding their physical presence into Alberta while continuing to grow their Ontario practice.
  • Building teams in both provinces that allow them to provide local knowledge while supporting clients remotely when needed.
  • Expanding their work beyond traditional residential transactions to include commercial real estate, private lending, refinancing, title transfers, ILA, and Wills & Estates.
  • Developing strong relationships with mortgage brokers, lenders, real estate professionals, and other industry partners who rely on our team to help their clients through the closing process.
  • Building systems and processes that allow us to grow without losing the communication and personal service that were foundational to the firm.

For Zubic Law, growth has never simply been about having more files. It has been about building a stronger team, creating better processes, and being able to provide the same level of care as the firm continues to grow.

Today, Zubic Law is a two-province operation, but the personal approach that started the firm remains at the centre of what they do.

Our Journey Together

As Zubic Law has grown, having the right technology and partners behind their team has become increasingly important.

Our relationship has been part of that evolution. As their volume and team have grown, so has the importance of having a reliable and streamlined identity verification process built into their workflow.

Looking Ahead

Zubic Law is still very much in a growth stage, and they are excited about where that will take them.

They plan to continue growing a strong presence in both Ontario and Alberta while growing their team, strengthening their systems, and continuing to find ways to make the closing experience better for clients and industry partners.

With that in mind, fraud prevention, identity verification, and secure processes will only become more important. Treefort will continue to be an important part of that infrastructure.
