Law Society recognized PCTF Certified Person Certification Achieved!
We’re starting 2025 on a high note and are thrilled to share some amazing news with you! We are proud to announce that Treefort has completed a rigorous certification process and the Digital Identification and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC) has awarded us their trust mark for the Pan-Canadian Trust Framework (PCTF) Verified Person component. Law Societies across Canada recommend that lawyers look for companies that have this certification when selecting their Identity Verification (IDV) technology and we are very pleased to say we are now one of only two identity-verification providers who have obtained this certification.
Founded in 2012, DIACC is a non-profit organization that unites public and private sector members to enhance participation in the global digital economy by leveraging digital trust services. By promoting vital design principles and PCTF adoption, DIACC champions privacy, security, and people-first design approaches.
This certification reinforces our commitment to upholding the highest standards of security, privacy, and reliability making us the most secure and trusted IDV solution available in Canada today. By meeting DIACC’s stringent criteria, Treefort ensures that our platform aligns with the latest best practices and regulatory frameworks and recommendations of the law societies, providing our customers with certainty when it comes to securing and verifying their clients’ identities.
We remain focused on continuously improving our services to meet the evolving needs of our customers and we are excited to share more important milestones to come!
Thank you for your continued trust in Treefort!
